easily transportable pad with very good surface

Have the pad since nem year and am now very happy with it. I use it with a (matching) Sharkoon Fire Glider laser mouse.
The pad has a very good, very slippery surface that detect the mouse perfectly. It is also very slippery.

Another plus point is that the pad is very flexible and therefore easy to transport. May sound trivial, but this was for me a very crucial point me to decide on a soft pad. Since I travel a lot and the pad have often folded in a backpack, or laptop in between the screen and keyboard will think I claimed more than average. It adheres very well. The surface is not as good as the day and the pad can be easily wash off with water or additional small amount of detergent and dries fairly quickly.

An often Addressed shortcoming is that the sides really quickly fray. Unfortunately, that destroyed a little bit the look, I find, however, not a big deal and it now frayed not always longer, but remained little frayed.

Several times has recently been reported in reviews of a strong chemical smell which did not go away even after weeks. I do not know if they have changed since the material, it was a faulty production series or even forgeries but I could never find such a thing in my pad. It always smelled quite neutral, it has a very slight rubber touch, smells like bicycle tires only much weaker and only determine if I smell with your nose directly at the pad.

- Black is slightly dirty (but which can be easily cleaned as I said)

It works naturally quite basic but as a pad also do not particularly look like I think. If you can live with that the sides fray something I can issue a strong buy recommendation.

Am very satisfied with the pad, fulfilled all expectations I have of a mouse pad and is large enough.
