My Conclusion
Alls of all First I have to say that the author has the mentality of the East Frisians very well captured and reproduced with the characters of the individual protagonists at this point. The North German, direct style and the local flair from the sea to the fish stalls triggered in me again from wanderlust. It is this reference to the Nordic home, makes the narrative for me authentic and worth reading.
Ostfriesenwut is already the ninth Ostfriesen thriller, which was written by Klaus-Peter Wolf. This is a book reading. In the whole series is the police investigation work and the life of Ann Katrin Klaasen at the center.
For me, this is the entry Ostfriesenwut to this audiobook series, and I have to honestly admit that it's been very difficult for me, finding my way in the storylines. I just guess that me firstly a lot of details from the first eight volumes are missing and, secondly, that it was probably in the print edition are quite a few important information that was omitted in the abridged audiobook version of necessity. And although Ostfriesenwut itself has a closed plot, I can only recommend a gut easy - it does not like me: Do not start in the middle of the action, but starts the Ostfriesen-series at the beginning of the action and that the first audio book -part Ostfriesen Killer, also published by Goyalit / JUMBO Neue Medien & Verlag.
I'm a huge fan of audio books and apart from the content, stands or falls for me a audio book production with the proper selection of the speaker or the speaker. And that's a matter of taste. The subjective feeling of the listener often been a decision within minutes sometimes even during an audition if you find pleasure in the voice or not. Unfortunately, I have often happens with author readings that I would have liked a more appropriate speaker. Without wanting to offend the author, this is the case with Ostfriesenwut. For me, the speech was quite exhausting and unfortunately it took me therefore not so tied, although I found the characters and the plot quite entertaining. So I'm going to venture a second attempt, and indeed from the outset with the Ostfriesen-crime series of Klaus-Peter Wolf, but then in e-book format.
