Why not two USB ports or a built-in hub? That you have to ask already. For the price the unit is fully ok. I have a hub with keyboard and mouse to it, I can now easily switch between two PCs with Win8 and Win7 and go forth. I had an adapter with "software switch" to switch between the devices to hot 2xSTRG button. Of this I can only advise: Mir has often switched the keyboard with multiple markers or zoom with Ctrl. Here there is a switch, which I think is meaningful.
