It works with 2300 watts, that's for good, so that the correct temperature for linen / cotton is achieved after a relatively short time my last had this ability no longer ... as usual: infinitely variable temperature setting. Even the steam output may - be regulated and that of "Off" to "Maximum", then what accounts for 120g per minute - in four stages. In addition - as usual - the two smooth keys available for that extra burst of steam and the spray to moisten the laundry. The laundry will not get wet, but slightly moistened to.
Off Timer 1: available after 8 minutes - Off.
Off Timer 2: after 30 seconds standing on the sole - burns Ade!
Off Timer 3: after 30 seconds on its side - From
In the practical large tank pour hole with good closure, is also the Antikalkstab, at least for my - is somewhat difficult to remove finger - quite normal. This rod should be decalcified as possible every 4 weeks in a glass with descaling. The water should be mixed with very hard water with 50% distilled water. The self-cleaning function is, as well as the soleplates cleaning every four weeks to be made. The tank holds 270 ml of water, whether it be more than that of other iron I can not find, unfortunately. It is the manufacturer indicated that the tank should be filled no further than to "MAX".
The fact that the cable attachment is oriented upward, I find very convenient, thus the cable does not touch the fabric and does not hinder me when ironing. The ground is by a handle extension - shapely and quite large, which is very pleasant always provides a safe parking. The cable I have felt with 2 m as a sufficiently long. The manual, however, I find miserable - nothing is too exquisite in German - probably for the visual type no problem.
Before first use, I have the Tefal FV 4886 - as recommended - the water tank to "max" filled, then brought it once to maximum temperature and tested several bursts of steam with "max" steam setting.
The Durilium soleplate with three steam zones, ACTIF-lines and "reverse" makes really a pleasant easy gliding on all kinds of fabrics. To de-wrinkling of example blouses or blazers I use the steam jet in a vertical position with several extra-steam lines - very convenient.
A good iron - I will recommend it!
