ECAM 23.450S

After years of back and forth between my friend and me with respect. Buying a KVA then fell 3 weeks ago the decision that the ECAM to her.
Am now just under 2.5 weeks very satisfied in operation - also with regard to milk foam and its accuracy in the cup (s Rez of MS..).
Ersteinerichtung the device does without problems in 5min.
Toll is also the "My Coffee" programming. Since I like a pot used to be full of yes. With the 2 cup button and the max setting of the water is also the full. Also in strength in my view very easy to dose (tested with very mild and then put on very strong).
Among the outlet cups also fit up to 14cm height (latte glasses). The froth in step 3 prevents sugar cubes about 10 sec perish at -.>, The milk must come really cold from the fridge !! Very good milk froth from my perspective.
I drink mainly coffee and even a cappuccino.

My girlfriend taps to hot water for tea, milk for cocoa drinks or milkshakes.
Device can be programmed to meet our needs in on and off.

Small drawback is the glossy sheet on which are the cups. It looks now like with my parents for 10 years, Siemens machine (the water tank caused scratches). Here, unfortunately, is the optics from function with DeLonghi. Now have missed a nice touch the plate. Since nothing is striking. Heat-resistant paint would probably go well, who disturb the scratches.

So we are at 2.5 weeks around happy !!

The machine is now for about 9 months in operation, and has 1500 coffee, cappuccino 600- and 400 hot water covers behind.
It runs flawlessly and has since been 5 times decalcified (hard water). Have in time 500ml and 250ml descaler milkfat cleaner consumes.
The problem described in other rec. To the poor walking in a clockwise rotary knob has my machine too. But as a left-hander does not bother me. Has the identical machine of my parents not the knob is also easier. No Matter.

For the scratch-sensitive cup shelf under the coffee spout I got a non-slip mat in the handle.
Got the cut and that works great.

Now nearly 5,000 coffee, cappuccino 1000 and 900 times more water ran through a short water level message.
The machine has to wievor on any deficiencies.
The shortcomings and Electronics trailer shown by some buyers and even in videos (brew group not recognized etc.)
I had until now never.
The only mistake that was aucftrat so far that even the group head too far up drove (Limit switch was jammed)
This incident I took the occasion to the machine completely clean. There are many good descriptions on the net.
However, one should proceed with the utmost care, because otherwise you happened something like me.
Have the brewing unit completely disassembled, cleaned, assembled - no problem.
Grinder disassembled, cleaned, zusammengeabut - no problem.
When cleaning of the brewing piston and the pressure hoses I have too much tightened the retaining screw of the piston during assembly.

This was the over - crack in the housing, no hot water and no foam. On the web from about 37, - available.
Carefully reingefrickelt. Everything like new again.

So even after more than 2.5 years no problems.
I would recommend, however, turn off the power saving mode. I have a feeling that the cooling and heating newly really can not be good for the device.
Since that is always hot, the machine is considerably quieter.
Also, I've been using my device revision always a filter.

I wish all owners continued joy and all future - buy!
