LED rope light the need fear no comparison with conventional tube technology without LEDs in brightness.
This tube consumes just 20 watts of power at about 240 LEDs, while my former equal length hose has effectively pulled with about 200 lighting points almost 195 watts from the grid.
I have exclusively 2011/2012 operated the LED light tube to Advenszeit / Christmas time at my wooden privacy fence in the outdoor area. December 2012, the next sections goodbye at a first strong vocal explosion, a larger luminous portion, a short time later at shorter intervals probably consecutive overheating.
Total loss.
Have at the same time a white rope light has in operation of any deficits. Only the tube itself has become cloudy over a long time. The white light still shines through well.
Meanwhile, I have a suitable replacement for the green LED tube and since December 2013. joyfully into operation. Hope that the durability time of longer duration is.
