I bought this product to measure the humidity in a piano (located in a large poorly insulated room where it's hot in summer). The wired sensor is long enough to be lowered into the piano. The sensor is small enough to get in touch with any mechanism and the rather thin cable to be able to close the top of the piano without this shift does. I can now control the humidity by adding water or drying as required. The rate is uniquely positioned. It remains to see the life of the batteries (often a problem in the low-end products, which did not seem to be the case here).
