In sound, there are a multitude of settings for systems ranging from 2.0 to 5.1 (no 7.1 with this card)
In addition to the traditional equalizers and environments, you have access to several settings options according to your preferences (karaoke, flexbass, acoustic echo suppression, voice effects, ...). In short there is something for everyone and you can adjust the number of 'channels' depending on what you are listening to (channels 2 to 8 until the mp3 for 3D games).
You also have access to 2 other Asus functions, HiFi and GX modes, which offer improved audio performance.
The majority of the options is selected by clicking the app, very easy to use.
The headphones and micro level, 3 selectable settings according to the type of use you want to do with the addition of Dolby function. The connection detection of the helmet on the front panel is straightforward and trouble free.
Sound is significantly higher than that of the integrated motherboard chipset (realtek for my motherboard), both output 2.1 speaker or headphone front panel connection. The difference is felt on all types of listening to the mp3 video games. In short a very good investment has a very soft price. There are probably better but not at the same rate ...!
The price / quality ratio is unbeatable this card but you will still go upmarket if you want to connect your 7.1 system, the DGX is limited to 5.1.
