Reliable and efficient

When unpacking the steam iron from Philips one can notice the same weight. But this is certainly subjective. Because not everyone has the same weight as the previous one iron, probably maybe even easier. In my case, my predecessor is a similar model with a similar weight, so getting used to was not difficult.
Unfortunately was in the pack no filling container for the water. This was my predecessor-iron of the case (including Philips and even the same price range). Since the filling hole is quite narrow, a filling aid would actually appropriate and probably to be expected as a side dish as well. Otherwise you have to probably be satisfied with a thin watering - if any.

One of the major advantages include the large ironing surface, the automatic cut-out, the drip and the built-in anti-scale protection.
The "Clean" function removes all lime particles and you do not do much more than fill water into the iron and hold it over the sink. The cost of constant purchse or replacing an anti-scale protection are now a thing of the past has.

The cable length of 2.5 m are hardly worth mentioning, since this actually now part of the standard size. In my case, even together with the lack of filling aid to a point reduction, as my predecessor with 3M allows considerably more freedom.
