So far the corkscrew that I found the easiest to use is 2 arms up as lon (lai I often heard called "De Gaulle"!) To extract the cork. Simplicity of use comes from the fact that it is supported over the entire periphery of the neck. But its drawback is that it is a bit too bulky.
This corkscrew "Screwpull" is based on a large part of the periphery of the neck and therefore do not pose a problem of positioning. I think compared to the corkscrew 2 arms, its main advantage is its storage position in which it has a small footprint and minimizes the risk of injury.
Indeed, for rotating the worm (the active part of the corkscrew) to lenfoncer in the plug and extract it from the bottle, a hollow detachable operating handle is provided which, in the storage position, forms a sheath for the worm, which limits the risk of injury when the instrument research in a drawer since the tip is not apparent.
It was enough dy think!
This instrument also has a pointed and curved blade for cutting foil cap covering the cork. The blade further has a cutout forming bottle opener.
The only complaint I have about this instrument regarding its plastic body which minspire moderately confidence. In addition, for aesthetics, preferred jaurais of brushed metal.
Finally, I believe worth mentioning (but are not intervening in my positive assessment of the product) that my product was delivered in a transparent plastic case which, without being broken, had a slit, while the package did not seem to have received stroke. From this perspective JobServe's comment "Charlotte" mentions a similar problem and blames the carrier. Another hypothesis is that failure comes from the seller, MUK.
