The packaging was good and quick to remove. The documentation is deficient moderate and especially with respect to the installation.
If you (like us) has the socket above the fridge, then the power cord is probably too short. But that is not a serious problem. Annoyingly there was already that of Amica fridge is a little smaller than our old model. Inexplicably, the device has only two front adjustable feet. If you use this, the refrigerator is then wrong. The hotline of Amica (toll-free number) there was not helpful: "The feet were not there to increase since, but only for fine adjustment so that the refrigerator is level."
No really plausible explanation, because these fine adjustment works! 2 feet even if the stand space is tilted forward. So tinkering was announced ...
Of course you would expect from a "Billigheimer" no miracles. However you measure a new model so once with his predecessor (and that was not a high-priced device).
For the glass plates there is unfortunately only one alternative position. This is very little flexibility.
The compartments in the door are not adjustable - and have no coverage (but that was known before buying).
The insertable egg tray does not fit properly so - well - less important ...
Our old fridge I've never heard - the Amica has since markedly more intrusive. The extent to which the stated dB figure is true, but I can not judge the best of intentions.
Subjectively, the lamp appears to me to be a little darker. A few more watts would prefer me and should also be possible in spite of A ++.
The locking mechanism of Gefriefaches is unusual and something gewähnungsbedürftig. By connecting such compartments usually by pressing the tray, so a certain point on the handle must at Amica exactly be pressed to the lock engages.
Up to this point I was very disappointed and would have given the device a maximum of 2 stars.
Something more conciliatory but voted me the consumption. This is indicated with 146 kW / h per year.
If this value is reached, then the acquisition would have paid for itself in our case, by saving electricity in no later than 6 years. Of course, the consumption also strongly depends on the ambient temperature and the frequency of opening and filling of the device. In this respect, I was naturally curious to see if the manufacturer's specification is maintained in our kitchen.
So far my Flowmeters predicts an annual consumption of just over 100 kWh.
In the hope that it stays that way, I try now to arrange with the above quirks ...

Now, after 3 months of consumption at just 1/4 KWh per day, or an annual consumption of less than 90 KWh has leveled off. It is however certainly be taken into account that we use the freezer compartment only occasionally. This low consumption makes me a little easier to overlook the various quirks ...
The more noise that I have criticized above is apparently generated by a vibration / resonance of the cabinet. Why, that was not so in our old unit, I do not know. The mere hum of the refrigerator is not very loud - but to hear in a quiet kitchen.
The lack of variability I have criticized above. Unlike the old equipment are now bottom of the unit, the two small compartments and above the higher skilled. Can be Geärndert the only way that a glass bottom is removed and only 2 instead of 3 (then higher) remain subjects.
The normally higher, upper compartment is not ideal to use, because the bottom of the Eisfaches falls backwards. For example, a mustard jar or a 500g yogurt glass front can only put on the top shelf and will not be pushed back.

Meanwhile (over the winter), consumption is again declined significantly. My instrument is now forecasting annual consumption of 73 KW / h - so far the consumption was only 1/5 KW / h per day.
Basically, I am satisfied with equipment, which is mainly due to the really low power requirement. Even if it has already happened a few times that we have the "pressure point" not pressed properly on the freezer and therefore the subject was not closed properly, this had no significant impact on the consumption.
At the noise, we have also been used.
It remains as a pet peeve the above described different level of the upper compartment. This limits the usefulness of the (total so quite small) refrigerator especially after a major shopping significantly.
Addendum 3:
Meanwhile, last summer and thus the refrigerator is more demanded. In the kitchen it is warmer and refrigerator and Eisfachtür certainly be opened frequently.
So it is not surprising that consumption of the device increases. With regard to the forecast annual consumption this increase is very moderate and is still well below 80 KW / h per year.
Despite somewhat accustomed to the special "pressure point" on closing the freezer compartment, this is already stayed up a few times - was therefore not closed properly. Fortunately, this has been mainly noticeable with increased ice formation in the freezer, but not with rapid thawing or greatly increased consumption.
The lack of flexibility and the resulting low maximum height of the compartments bother my wife meanwhile more. I probably should not buy this device, so once again ...
