I hesitated with the TomTom Go 500 ... Given the comments and evaluation of a relative who bought it, I preferred this and I must say not to be disappointed. GPS is very responsive, easy to fix (I bought the round platform to stick on the dashboard), very fast to launch and recover its position. Search cities, streets, city centers, PI, is very complete ... (tested for 13 days in Sardinia as baptism).
Only downside: some roads in Sardinia for example not recognized by the GPS despite regular updates of GPS. Now this has not had any material impact.
Frankly, considering the price, the facilities provided (Cable + Car Charger Adapter) and update for life ... this purchase is exceptional price / quality TOP
