Good tripod when you should not wear it all day. The patella is relatively accurate (light horizontal offset when the knob is preventing the pan rotation) and easily fits a hybrid SLR camera or expert with a result objective (about 2kg). Leg setting is simple, even with gloves, the whole is sufficiently rigid. The folded footprint is too large to store in a backpack "classic" kind Eastpack or ~ 30L hiking pack. To conclude: easy to use, robust but relatively heavy. It loses a star for the folded size and for weight, but its low price makes it a good first purchase.
