Until receipt of this steamer, I was using the most classic triptych for my cooking: plates with pots and pans, oven and microwave. I think now regularly use this steamer, despite its imposing size (especially its many baskets made): 1- it requires minimal supervision, no risk of overflowing on the plates or in the oven, and no risk of burned 2 is fast enough, unlike what I thought 3 is ultra easy to use: you put water in a basket, the food is placed in the basket, you plug the camera and pressing the timer, that's it! 4- food flavor is incomparable: I did a first test with a cod fillet, usually spent in the microwave. It melted in the mouth (while the outgoing result of the microwave was inconclusive). 5- various accessories wash extremely easily (as plastic baskets roughly).
Clearly, this product has been designed especially for fish, but we might as well on cooking meats and vegetables. There is even a special basket eggs (which I doubt use, is fast and efficient in a pot also.
