Einaudi's Nightbook: surprisingly different 'acoustic night reading' ...

By publishing his last CD Nightbook I have now gained a completely new attitude towards Ludovico Einaudi's music, which is not surprising in fact: He speaks (in the little video here on Amazon), mutatis mutandis, of such a thing as the 'regurgitation new portals' and - perhaps in contrast to all those to whom the 'old' Einaudi liked better - which I very much welcome. Certainly played by the (still discreet) use of electronics a role, but Nightbook includes some simply more of the intensity that I have missed in his earlier works, it shows the same impressive in the opener, "In Principio", continues fantastic in "Lady Labyrinth", culminating initially in the title track, the wonderfully arranged "Night Book" - before Einaudi 'shuts down "and maybe a little more returns to familiar (and thereby quieter) patterns, as in" Indaco "or the" Snow Preludes No. 15 & 2 ". Also," Reverie "fits more into this category, while for example the idiosyncratic" Eros "and especially" The Tower ", in turn, building up even more than one, to (behave) have ecstatic character." For dinner or to meditate I would also this CD certainly do not hang up, because they, in itself is not a coherent work for this occasion, more than their predecessors, but that just speaks for them: Your variant wealth! Whether mystical or melancholy, dreamy or dynamic - each of the 12 pieces (+ hidden track) it is definitely worth to be heard, although perhaps each in very different moods.
Therefore Nightbook has found the first CD of this pianist, her place in my CD collection, which makes me very happy ... and I recommend further necessarily enjoy listening and discovering.
