I have 4 Wandlstrahler with 2 GU-10 lamps is lit in a waiting area 10 hours a day, originally fitted with conventional 50 watt halogen lamps. This consumed to date 400 watts so 4 kWh per day, they were red-hot and were constantly blown. A week ago, I replaced it with 3.5 watt LEDs and am really excited: just as bright as the Halos, no appreciable heat generation etc. lamps are solidly built and neatly packed. Annual savings in energy costs: about 279 Euro !!! We can only hope that they are made to last.
