The novel is a real "page-turner" with many comic sites - and yet (hence only four stars) forfeit the story only from time to time in platitudes and Vorhersehbarkeiten.
As history now actually run out, but is not that what makes the book eventually. It is the interaction of four completely different characters that join together to form a sort of end-Friendship, from the novel draws his wit and entertainment value.
But can a story that is based on the desire for suicide actually funny write without being tasteless? Nick Hornby can! The figures are not figures of fun, but similar to best described as tragicomic as in his previous novels.
And so Hornby succeeds once more an intelligent and humorous insight into the nature of human beings.
