My environment
The Beamer is currently being set up 50cm above the floor with me.

Handling
Switching allows the projector via a power button on the housing or on the remote control.
Within 10-15sec. is the projector then ready for use.
Place the alignment and prepared by height-adjustable front feet and the special lens shift function no problems.
Lens shift means that you can convert the picture without the projector placement at an arbitrary point on the wall. The clearance is so generous that I am able to move the image up to 20cm completely through, under or next to the canvas.
The menu navigation is also completely possible about the case or the remote control.
The default settings regarding the image quality have been well chosen. You can, however, customize the menu even further to personal needs. This allows the menu to a completely intuitive control.
Volume
With thearetischen 22dB in eco mode the projector is currently in its price range unbeatable quietly.
When 1. Start the volume falls at first still on strong.
In the menu the volume can however settle down through the two settings screen "Cinema" and power "Eco".
Practically the projector is in use then in about as loud as my laptop (Acer Aspire with i5 processor) while playing the FilmŽs.

Even when silent movie enjoyment volume falls later no longer. In completely quiet scenes he is of course clearly audible.

Image Quality
To compare the image quality I unfortunately is no current device.
So here my subjective assessment.
The sharpness of the image is perfect. The colors come across amazingly brilliant and balanced.
At first appeared the red hues bit too strong (at the Olympics 2012 in London).
In the last days, however, I could not find it.
The colors appear even when imperfect darkness already strong film-friendly.
And dark scenes, such as the beginning of "The Book of Eli" come across well.
If necessary, this value on the power point "Normal" still increase, but this is maybe necessary.
The contrasts could be a bit stronger. However, this is certainly no shortage of the projector but the defective screen.
Even with fast moving images no disturbances can be recognized.
About my 5m Projection distance I manage an image with 3.8m width (about 172 inches) to project onto the wall.
More are the zoom not her. However, this is already a lot!
Only drawback: around the image occurs permanently on a 10cm wide bright frame.
It is colorless and does hauptzächlich noticeable in dark scenes.
I do not know if this is normal in such projectors, and he is now also not very disturbing, but the demarcation to the image would be nicer if it were not present.
Also striking how little heat is radiating the light when the hand stops in front of the image. Thus, the current energy efficiency of the device (Eco 216Watt) is noticeable.
Clay
The projector has no speaker.
Since I want to connect my own conditioning, of course, this is no problem.
However, one must note the sound output on BlueRay player switch, since HDMI is automatically selected when switching on 1, resulting in the fall for silent films.
Conclusion
I did not regret buying!
The picture is very high quality and able to meet my high demands fully.
I have taken previously worried about the volume. With the result of Epson I can resign myself well.
If I wöllte reduce the volume of the projector I would also reduce the volume of my BlueRay player.
If you want to have the practical lens shift function, there are anyway no better Full HD projector. And with Epson's one served very good in my opinion!
I would buy the Epson EH-TW3200 definitely be back.
