Here you can draw from the very beginning many things (before initial operation) wrong, what then also unfortunately affects the life of each component.
Meanwhile I got the 2nd unit. The first device, unfortunately, the engine had broken down. At least he could no longer start and there are also div. Other defects arisen as demolished eg choke, fuel filter defective ...
However, it must be noted that there seems to be only one producer of this equipment. No matter where you look at such a device, at Westfalia in blue, or yellow in FUXTEC or or or, the appliances are all from one manufacturer. The price is still unbeatable! In my garden, the device has done a very good service and I am glad that I have such a device. That was also the reason for the new order. By the way, the Fa. Primopet has refunded me the purchase price of the first fixture in the full amount.

I want to indicate here a few important tips that can prolong the life of the device significantly:

1. Before initial spark plug screws from the engine and a few drops of oil through the plug hole into the cylinder. So the engine has definitely lubrication and does not run dry during the first startup! A few drops are enough! Then press the cable (the motor times by pulling). Then screw in candle again.
(I recommend the drops of oil in the cylinder even before unused for long periods, for example during the winter)

2. All waves of attachments before initial operation lubricate with grease. Waves can be easily pulled out. Otherwise, the waves run in the guides dry. Remember shaft teeth!

3. Lubricate all grease nipples. The Chinese have in fact saved fat. 4-5 strokes from the usual grease gun are sufficient. Fat should be acid free! When hedge trimmer gear it may sometimes have to be 2 more strokes.

4. first time allow it to warm before the first garden use the engine. Then see if the engine unfolds the full power. If not, adjust the carburetor on the vent screw (screw on the carburetor with spring). It goes full throttle and turn the screw a few turns until the power drops. Then again something purely rotate to the max. Speed ​​is reached. Now the carburetor is adjusted properly! Adjustment should be done only when the engine is warm !!! Otherwise the engine could be damaged. Adjust if necessary Finally still idling on the screw on throttle cable.

5. After each operation, the fuel should be left out of the tank (my recommendation). The fuel filter in the tank does not seem to be really benzinressistent. The plastic is soft. You can tell if the small fuel pump only air is sucked in, in spite of a full tank. If that happens, remove the filter and connected to a small tube and reconnect the fuel line. Or install a different filter incl. Weight.

6. The problem with the pruners (the saw) can be solved by minor modification! Securing the sword is not enough! The chain dissolves and flies you up. After that is often the case badly damaged !!!!! Remedy before the first use: The chain guide (sword) secure again using a small pin or screw. Thus, the resulting forces can be safely absorbed. For this example, a thread M4 towards the chain tension (on cast iron) Attach (so you do not drill into the tank, remove it by loosening the 3 screws for safety's sake). A slot (ca 5-10mm) in the chain guide (sword) attach to this spot, so that the chain tension is still possible. Now attach flat screw (countersunk) or simply tighten a screw. If no tap is available, so pinning is also a possibility.
The chain must be properly tensioned (can then be difficult to manually move) and before initial operation observe the leadership and the chain should be oiled. The nut on the plastic cover Firmly tighten !!! This sword is held namely. The chain tension should be checked in between times! better safe than sorry! As I said, the Usage Rate of chain is usually associated with great damage.

7. The hedge trimmer before initial operation and after each use always well oiled.
It is important that the gearbox (grease nipples on large housing) is well lubricated. I have already broken down, as one of the inner lever was jammed and nothing has moved. It must have fat everywhere! If not, the lever to seize up on the waves.

A tip: The devices can be installed even with the engine running. That's not a problem as a power transmission takes place only at higher speeds.

If one considers the points, then the unit should also prepare some joy. If something does not work, necessarily cancel the packaging for returning to Primopet! It has otherwise great packaging problems.
