The main reason why I have chosen for this particular model - I can still use first, the old S-VHS cassettes at least for playback and secondly also play hi-FM on the stereo. Such features can be found in other brands rarely (particularly S-VHS). And thirdly, the device is well made - the drawer for the DVD is not as rickety.
What a little notice:
1. Finalising a bit noisy (but not necessarily annoying)
2. At the end of a cassette, the device needs almost a quarter of an hour to go in the Finalisierungsmodus - The screen is gray and the remote control responds to a single command.
Overall Conclusion: A good device that is easy to operate and a good image quality. My rating of 5 stars, therefore.
By the way - I have an S-VHS VCR Panasonic (FS-88) from 1992. The instrument was not even in repair and is still technically top. Also one of the reasons me to decide again for Panasonic ...
