I am one of the fans who could not begin quite as much with the latter albums. My previous favorite was "Burli" and so just I also like "You have to win a duel." This album is in my opinion even better. The lyrics and melodies are very catchy as ever, hear already after the second time, you can sing along. On top of that I am a football fan and have always wanted to like to hear Sportfreunde album that completely revolves around the round leather.
The texts have also - in typical Sportfreunde manner - this certain touch of irony. To emphasize are especially "A love that never ends" (a ballad as Liebeserlärung to football) and "The hairstyle of Björn Borg" (in which quite a few former football legends of Germany and their properties are named).
Also really liked the cover version "Pogo in Togo". In terms of content there first no relationship to find the football. However, I watch at the African teams that have qualified for the 2006 World Cup, so you will notice that all of these countries occur in this song (Angola, Togo, Ivory Coast (ivore Coast) and Gahna)
A brand current reference for today's football can also be found in "Come Sara?", Which was recorded in Italian. So here the manipulation of games and be heaping fascism among fans and players will be denounced, among others.
Thoughtful tones beat Sportfreunde Also in "Mag Table Tennis", where parents are criticized for wishing to speak ill their children play football or even prohibit.
These songs were my personal highlights, the other songs these inferior only minimal ...
