- Like the first volume, here we have several stories about his life. I found these really interesting stories, as in "The last wish." It follows Geralt in his meetings and various quests. But this time, I find that you learn more about Geralt, in particular emotions (emotions that are supposed not to be part of his life). Geralt quite ask about the evil that gnaws the world. Most of the time, monsters are not the ones that are believed ... Geralt hunt monsters to protect humans, but humans are not really white as snow either.
- It was good to find Dandelion, the poet. His humor brings a little bit of madness in this saga. And verbal sparring between him and Geralt are still good. These two characters have nothing in common, yet they know and get along so well!
- Geralt (and Dandelion times) not encounter a lot of different creatures: dragons, mimes, mermaids, sea creatures, Dryads ... I enjoyed all the stories, but I have yet darlings! As "The limits of the possible" where we find Trois-Choucas (character I loved), or "An ounce of self-denial" touched me (especially Essi). I have laughed "The Eternal Fire".
The last two stories ("The sword of Providence" and "Something More") are, I think, a real turning point in the life of Geralt.
- Finally, The Witcher is really a saga that I love. Various characters, a "hero" particular animals of all kinds ... In short, a fantasy universe really pleasant. The third volume was released on August 26th, I can not wait to read it!
