The first steps out of the box were:
Remove camera from the waterproof protective housing -
- Bundled use 32GB MicroSD card (!)
- Ready to charge the two Li-ion polymer battery with the included charger
Insert a battery in the camera -
Ready!
The operation of the camera worked really intuitive, I had not only wade through countless menus. Just switch on, select video mode, may still change before the wide angle, press record button and the picture is taken. The small 2-LCD screen is enough to see exactly what you record, also all the necessary information can be easily read. Also in material and workmanship me convinced the compact camera. One does not have the impression of having a cheap part in hand here.
What has taken advantage of a lot more time, as to familiarize yourself with the camera, was the view of the wide range of accessories. Of the wide range of applications (mounting on helmet fitting, head, body, disc ...) with the help of different shaped brackets, adapters and straps I found especially the fastening possibility on a bicycle interesting.
Some manufacturers save precisely the accessory to push the total price. Here is rather the opposite is true. That example also a Sandisk 32GB memory card, a MicroHDMI cable and a spare battery are still included, is exemplary and by no means obvious.
The recording quality I found good overall, but where you have to distinguish. In daylight situations (is probably in practice most often the case), the image quality is above average, only the contrast and the colors were a little too intense. In low light, or rather in darker interiors the camera, however has limitations (poor image quality, strong color noise). Also the sound is clear and quite acceptable, as long as you leave out the protective housing.
Bottom line, you get to the P2 Dazzne a complete package of good action cam and a range of accessories, just everything you need for fast recreational shooting. Wers more professional like, much more needs to spend. So my personal opinion is between 4 and 5 stars, because of the attractive price-performance ratio rather upward trend.
