The device is being done quickly and easily. Before I could start right away a system update was shown to improve performance I already characterized the Tablet was once scarce and a half hours can not be used. Who faster line than I (was loaded with an average of 150KB / sec) can also carry correspondingly faster.
From the performance point makes the QV 830 a good impression, it's not quite as fast as its big brother, but has achieved a different interior. But what still take time is to turn the screen, takes just 3 seconds. Most Apps contrast open in less than one second, only the app "maps" has a total of 5 seconds for.
The touchscreen detects the vertical "mode" all entries are correct, the scrolling in the browser (Chrome) but is partly accompanied by slight jerkiness. In horizontal "mode" on the other hand the screen plays (mostly while surfing) crazy, if I want to scroll the zoomed Tablet ran instead, although I use only one finger to do so. In the long run this is very annoying. Why is only if you use the tablet horizontally I do not know. What I would wish for the touch screen, would be the possibility of adjusting sensitivity. In the settings you can adjust only the mouse / pointer speed continuously and the reaction time, touch / hold in three stages (short, medium and long).
The display is fine, it has a resolution of 768 x 1024 pixels (Source: Gigaset). As with the 10 "tablet can be there almost horizontally in front of him and yet keep recognize anything on the screen, very nice. However, it also reflects how the 10" reflect each other exactly.
The QV 830 can be connected only via WLAN to the Internet, so is suitable for home use, or even where there is a hot spot more. The connection wifi remains stable throughout the year with me, no matter where in the apartment I am.
The camera can be described best as a nice gimmick in QV 830. 5 MP give support her not too much. By day you can so thoroughly indeed make the one or other snapshot, but no later than with the onset of dusk, it was then.
Again, it does not need to install the Adobe Flash Player, according to Adobe, the device is not compatible. This is also the 10 "device like this.
The battery life is very good, I had the tablet before it gave up in the first round almost seven hours in operation the mind. It was a lot of surfing on the Internet, a couple of videos watched via Youtube and played Angry Birds. Currently, the tablet runs since three and a half hours and still has 54 per cent with unchanged energy options that were set at the factory.
Finally, I can say that my QV 830 quite well like, the processing and battery life is great, the performance mostly good.
Two stars subtract because of problems with the screen, camera and sound. I hope the Gigaset, at least because of the performance, even donated an update.
