I am very surprised about this SSD. It is one of the fastest SSD, I managed to test so far.
Exceptional access times
What really amazed the data rate with small files. Here, the SSD really trumped up. Even the smallest file sizes (4K) it can be noisy test yet read about 28MB / sec and even 60MB / sec write, su
According to the data, it has up to 68,000 IOPS (read) and 69,000 IOPS (write). At these values, I can not quite, but the 42,775 IOPS (read) and 37 353 IOPS (write) are nevertheless impressive.
Working software
The Transcend Software (SSD Scope v1.9) is simple but works well on Windows 8 64bit problemslos. Here can be firmware updates to perform, perform various tests, Secure Erase start, configure TRIM or cloning a disk. Only Over Provisioning settings missing, otherwise everything works very well
(Important: Secure Erase, DriveScan etc not for me with the Nvidia SATA drivers are possible, but only with the Windows own standard drivers!)

OS: Windows 8 [6.2 Build 9200] (x64)
Size:
Very small (7mm), also suitable for very thin notebooks. In addition, the SSD supports special power-saving modes.
Conclusion:
A recommended SSD, just as the OS disk.
