Richie Sambora is St.Pauli and Borussia Dortmund in a person. He is fighting passionately and plays filigree. He sings better than ever; he can get all the pleasure, all the rage, all the grief and all the joy of playing guitar. He hits the listener with full force. Everything sounds rough and at the same time more accessible than it was in its predecessors the case. Blues is passé. There is rocked uncontrollably. Bon Jovi Mainstream (Every road ... Seven years gone, I'll always walk beside you) meets pure Rock'n Roll (Sugar Daddy, Burn the candle down, Nowadays). Richie makes tidy pace, is loud, and then once again to be careful and quiet. The plate is damn good produced; not smooth, not too edgy. From the lyrics ago Richie has never been so honest. The death of his father, his ex-wives Denise Richards and Heather Locklear, his beloved daughter about everything, his drinking problem - everything is discussed. And ultimately, it is then very Bon Jovi-like; the optimist and hope to win - and that's a good thing. All in all, Mr. Sambora done a great job and playfulness. One can only love the album. Thank Master of Disaster, the King of Swing - Thanks Richie !!!
