That this device at this price comes directly from China is clear. 3 weeks shipping therefore not surprising. The device requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not supplements with me - no problem. It works surprisingly well for this price and decent measures. I was compared to other thermometers only minimally different (The lighting and the service are very good. I can recommend it to anyone who does not guarantees must accurately measure on grade.
