The magic board was delivered to us in a cardboard box. She came undamaged and stable packed home with us.
The Spiegelburg Zaubermaltafel consists of a pin and 2 stamps (star and flower). The pin is attached to a rope and so can not be lost. Unfortunately, the stamps are loose, but lock it well in its holder provided. In addition, the stamp can not be swallowed due to its size.
Where is the difference to other normal Zaubermaltafeln? Here color comes into play. With most conventional panels is produced while painting black lines. When Spiegelburg variant's are equal to 4 colors: blue, red, yellow and orange. The color change is not something like a rainbow, but the painting surface is simply divided into 4 sections (top left: blue, top right: Red, bottom left: yellow, bottom right: green). What we do not like: The product photo is deceptive definitely the potential customers! Never, it is possible to paint so fine, clear and distinct color pictures on the product picture! On the contrary can be seen in the background but this honeycomb-like pattern. Once you get stained with the pen it touches the whole honeycomb. Thus the work of art depicted is definitely printed on it, not painted. You could manage a arisen with so fine lines image namely never. The painted images of the children are rough and more pale. We know this already and have already Zaubermaltafeln panels from other manufacturers held in his hands. Therefore, it was clear to us in advance that such detailed images is not possible as in the product photo. For other customers who might buy a Zaubermaltafel the first time about it, however, be angry. This is what I wanted to explain just once.
Conclusion: The tablet is super suitable for toddlers. Here you can not accidentally paint the table is, the function is quickly understandable for small children. By the handle the table is easy to transport. For older children you should buy a different panel, where you can paint detailed. The Spiegelburg painting board is a great Kritzeltafel, but just not for the great artists.
