Using far parchment paper for my cakes and breads, I wanted to test with a silicone mat. I did not want to buy "first prize" because I know that in the silicone, there are several manufacturing quality (as in almost all the way), so I opted for this model.
The cooking is just as good as with parchment paper, no complaints. It has a nice little thickness shows a good manufacturing quality. The only gripe I could find him is his size. Knead a dough and spread of 1.5 kilos of bread, one "beyond" a little around. I think if it measured 40x40 that would be ideal. So, I kneaded the work plan and then deposits the bread dough on the carpet.
Another positive thing, I felt no any smell after cooking on the carpet or on itself, nor in my bread. No odor or taste so parasite.
