With "El Alamein" of C.Mas and "Afrika" B. Rondeau, the work of Christopher Prime is my third reading on the desert war this summer. The three books complement (see my review) and C. Prime me particularly excited. It is through action and live with Stirling and Maine! Panting and exciting, although I've read on this subject elsewhere. I did not bored one second with C. Prime! The author does not merely describe the intervention of SAS in North Africa but long addresses operations in Europe in 1944, particularly during the Liberation. This part is more unique to me, is a "plus" in this beautiful book that I highly recommend.
