With the old model for a long time I decided to change. Dyson engineers have done a good job. Basically the positives versus the former are: - Less noise (it was hard enough before) - The "ball" effect allows excellent maneuverability - It sucks a little better I feel - Less power consumption (1300W for what it aspires is impressive).
We find the Dyson qualities namely manufacturing quality, they do not wash the filter every 6 months that unlike other vacuum cleaners without bags etc.
I am very satisfied but it's still very expensive for a vacuum cleaner. Go for it if you have the budget, if not the cheapest twice model is already a very good investment.
