Dr. Hassan Amdouni (Tunisian scholar, Arabic and French), theologian, expert of Islamic law (fiqh) and historian of Islamic civilization, we propose here a book retracing the key events associated with the life of the first four caliphs of the Islam (both contemporary and close companions of the Prophet and his successors policy). The interest of this book is threefold: a) trace the biography of the four caliphs; b) a historical work to get an idea of how Muslim societies were managed by Islam (faithful to the sources) in the first generation; c) a comparison between the Islamic and historical reality, with contemporary aspirations and pretensions (and some really great contrast between the Islamic states with their voluntary caricatures and unconscious falsifications).
The book allows to realize three types of deviations; those Shiites who reject the authority of the first three caliphs (accepted by the passage Ali) no Islamic basis, those extremist / Khawarij, and those pseudo-Salafi betraying Islam by falsifying and Muslim sources Islamic precepts in terms of governance in Islam.
