This is a novel that I expected farm feet! With this sublime cover and ultra tempting summary, it was not for me to make me want to dive into that novel! After turning the last page, I assure you that the selection is a great novel! Between Hunger Games, Divergent and Instant, you will love to follow America in a quest for love! Ruins of the United States was born of a caste monarchy named Illéa in this novel we follow America Singer, a young girl Five class that will receive an official letter stating that she can participate in the selection: a competitor where 35 young women of the kingdom of Illéa will be drawn to then go live at the Royal Palace and try to win the heart of Prince Maxon. Unlike her mother, who sees all his financial problems disappear, America does not want to participate in this draw. Why? Because his heart belongs to Aspen Leger, a Six, which America is crazy in love for two years. But at the insistence of his mother and her lover, America reluctantly participates in the draw. She who thought he had no chance, imagine her surprise when she discovers she is raffled! It was from that moment that everything started Kiera Cass's style is simple and easy to read even though I found some too childish dialogues. There are few arguments for certain times and it's pretty frustrating as we would have liked to believe palace Maxon company and America 'author fails to give us the impression of being in the book and to live it and that's a shame! The characters are really endearing. America is a strong heroine who will evolve over the book and as some of you know, I love to see the evolution chapter protagonists chapter! It becomes more and more confident and she does the relationship with Maxon's very cute to read! Maxon, I really enjoyed it very endearing. I loved the moments between him and America, I smiled without realizing it! I look forward to see them in other volumes and in the television series whose pilot normally comes out in the US in September. Aspen, in my opinion, is stupid! I did not really appreciate, it was a hollow character and déjà vu for my taste! The dystopian world in this novel is present without actually be. We feel the terrifying reality of caste, tension Defiant 'but we must not forget that the selection is primarily a love story! So romance is really emphasized in this first volume and I think it will be just as in other opus even if the dystopian world will be much more present afterwards too. We feel that the air is heavy and it may burst in the sequel ' I really enjoyed this novel and I really want to read the Elite, the second volume will be released in April 2013! I wonder what will happen in the love triangle America, Aspen and Maxon. If you want a relaxing time and if you liked The Hunger Games, you will devour the selection!
