With the Catalyst drivers from AMD, the GPU up to 725 MHz, the memory up to 900 Mhz, be overclocked. I can play absolutely perfectly as Diablo 3 and FarCry 2 at highest graphics settings. Very hardware-heavy games like Risen 2 Dark Waters, however, are even unplayable on lowest settings.
The map was hot under full load up to 70 degrees. After I have a case fan directed it will however never be hotter than 50 degrees.
So for this price, the card is definitely highly recommended.
