So far, I always used Sony models until they no longer were in question due to lack of quality and annoying bells and whistles such as heavy duty plug adapter for me. Luckily, there are the closed variant of Sennheiser. The cable length is just right and the asymmetric Y-shape (the cable to the right ear is performed behind the neck) is a great Comfort Plus. Thus, you can just let dangle at the supermarket cash on chest earphones example.
The workmanship is very good, although the 3.5mm connector seems a bit bulky than the Sony-competitive, but also more stable. A positive feature is the cover of the audio channel to which the rubber stopper is inserted. This is not made of cheap rubber (which can be easily pressed when cleaning) but of a fine metal mesh, unlike other models.
The sound quality of the CX 300 is very good and has a very differentiated - even if the most is habituation thing with earphones. For me the Sennheiser sound anyway better than anything I had previously. The mentioned by some users of the cable noise when it rubs against clothing are, I have not noticed. Since I use these earphones type for some time, perhaps I find it simply no longer on.
Accessories There are up to three different sized plugs pairs none of which was not disturbing. Any storage boxes or cable reels were me already getting too complicated and if the case costs saved come the actual product benefit, the better.
For very good quality is the very fair price, so I can fully recommend the CX 300.
