The band Creedence Clearwater Revival has created since 1967 their own, never-before-heard sound, which was designated in the US as Southern rock or Swamp- Rock! He was so taken with the southeastern southern states in connection, although the group was founded in California. This was due to the preference of the protagonist John Fogarty for blues and classic rock 'n roll, mixed with some country music. The result was some monster hits in the United States, in England and in remaining Europe, but in 1973 it was over, because the band members got into a dispute because of stylistic disputes and lack of royalties due recklessly closed adhesion contracts with the record company! But all your hits (so far as I know) have made it to this Pickering packe- full exquisite single CD, 24 tracks on a single disk I have never experienced before. My only criticism: The song "I Heard It Through the Grapewine" only comes in twice as long "Long" - version over really, best immortalized with a good set of headphones, and unfortunately on this CD for the short radio version !
