I have long been a looser barbecue, forced to gesticulate to wind dying to turn lights ... It's all over! Now I burn a fire starter in the chimney starter-filled 2/3 of coal. Then I take a drink with friends without watching nothing, and after 15-20 minutes, I quietly spread embers and perfect, in the process, I place my meat! Really awesome! Why did I put that 4/5 then? Because this system is especially great with the Weber charcoal, which is quite expensive (even if it burns a lot longer). The conventional coal is less suited: it tends to slip through the grill of the fireplace and to fall on the firelighters and off. Ultimately, with the tandem "chimney charcoal Weber +", I get fabulous and inratables barbecues, but in the end it cost me a little more! (Bag 15 to 17 euros instead of 6 at 8 euros for conventional bags). That said, it's worth it, because of the disappearance of stress! The fireplace works even slightly rainy weather!
