After purchasing ... 14 books on carpentry and cabinet making, this one is my favorite book, everything is abstract it, and more importantly, correctly summarized. There are more than essential: there is everything, and everything in a clear and orderly manner. A book of early examples: the different woods. In almost all the books on carpentry, you will find a summary of the woods and what you make. On all purchased books, none as good summary, and three pages (!!), most of the wood, their use, ease of work and so on. It is no small trick that drags here and there, it was everything we want when we want. Some small examples in the end, come complete piece, and one may feel frustrated not to have more, but we could almost do without it, it's practically in my case (I'm beginner) because this book is a reminder to which I constantly refer, as an example for the models book.
I even covered the book with a cover "hard" as the library, so that it resists time!
Have also the head book format: This format is very convenient! You can take it anywhere, it's bigger than a paperback book, but it is not a "big" book, another book I bought and I find it very good ("The Encyclopedia of carpentry ") is" large size "and, he, in contrast, can not take it anywhere.
I say and repeat, in my opinion, this book is really a summary of everything you need really know, and someone who has the whole of this book is in the lead, in my view, perhaps more than a beginner.
Obviously manual labor wood so the experience is gained over time, can never replace all that is said in a book but that's another topic!
