So, the first night cache was imminent. So the new battery into the charger again and fully charged.
In the lamp is inserted and the regulated mode is selected (lamp, 8x buttons briefly and then 1x completely by pressing). If after setting the light suddenly goes out, ie the regulated mode is selected, otherwise the light would dim out going (unregulated mode).
Next, the Easy program selected (4x buttons, press 1x, thereafter lamp must blink 2x).
In Easy program you now have 3 ways to use the light: either 100%, 15%, or dimmed continuously.
To 100% light mode is to say that according to the manufacturer the 100% are only in the first 2 minutes are available, then the light will be shut down on 60%, but you'd never seen noticed in practice.
Now for the practical use:
Overall, the tour was 2.5 hours the batteries mastered with flying colors.
Mainly the lamp was in 100% mode, only now and then briefly at stations I downshifted to 15%.
Overall, the battery held by the first charge by just over 3 hours. Subsequently, the M14 showed by flashing (about 5 minutes) it is time to charge the batteries.
For the luminance offered me already surprised, especially since the producer does with regular batteries will run in controlled mode of about 2.5 hours.
At this point, therefore a credit to the eneloop XX batteries that were it not entirely uninvolved.
All in all I am really happy with the M14. It lies well in the hand and the Speed Focus is beyond all doubt.
Transmission makes them very robust, although the Speed Focus System requires little maintenance, if the lamp falls into the dirt / sand / dust.
Let's see how the lamp strikes in the future.
where appropriate, there is then here an update.
Update 26/10/2012
Now that the batteries were 4 times fully charge and discharge cycles, the Luafzeit has increased to approximately 4 hours. Of about 1 hour in the dimmed mode.
Striking was that when the batteries are already quite weak, can no longer be the modes of the lamp switch. Then it only needs on and off is possible.
This could perhaps in which one or other users create confusion.
As before, I'm very pleased with the performance offered.
