An excellent concise overview of the currents of psychoanalytic theory and education. Based on the respective core issues, starting points and problems of various schools controversy and secessions are prepared to understand, especially the last two chapters "Controversies in Theory" and "Controversies in Technique" I found very enlightening, based on the central points of contention / polarities as the question what is considered pathogenic factor is believed to be developments worked out well understood.
