I use this lens on a Samsung NX1. I am delighted with the intensity and the bokeh is very harmonious. The build quality is impeccable and robust! The additional tripod shoe makes sense because the weight would still very tug at the camera. Even if in this lens really no tripod required ... The additional switches and buttons on the lens are well mounted and can be operated well. The integrated dust and water protection round the lens on a positive note. I think the weight of just 920g not disturbing you simply transmits the light to the lens and not NX1 the lens on the camera.
