The data of my computer:
- Graphics card ASUS GTX 970 Strix
- Processor Intel 4770K
- 8 GB RAM
- Operating system Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1
For Monitor:
- Unpacking, Installation and connection without any problems
- DP connection on the graphics card and the monitor miniDP using supplied cable (1.8 m)
- After being first switched immediately full resolution (4096 x 2160) displays in 60Hz
- Too high Set and brightness had to be runtergeregelt
- The menu for setting appears for about 1 second after pressing the button
- Font size set to 125% otherwise the writing is as sharp as ever, but too small for me
- No halos, no color distortion, just a perfect picture
- Speakers gruesome here promises LG clearly too much (although I give 5 Stars)
Fitness for work:
When working I have plenty of space on the screen. Have three to four Word documents in readable quality, place side by side. Most of my applications, the modified font size (125%) adapt or can be adjusted accordingly. If not completely clean programmed programs (. Eg VR-NetWorld) it may happen that even a text is truncated or overlapping text - I feel now not as SiO tragic and hope with Windows 10 and new versions of the applications these problems a thing of the past.
Gaming capabilities:
Here I had, especially after reading some reports to switch my major concerns on 4k. These were completely unjustified:
- Elder Scrolls Online, 4K resolution, all on Ultra, always 32-70 fps, no appreciable bucking
- Dragon Age Inquisition UHD resolution, lockable on Ultra stuttering, therefore set to high quality, then läufts supple
... And the graphics are absolutely amazing in both games in high resolution.
Overall, I can issue a buy rating on the monitor.
