The principle of the clamp is a little confusing at first: you have to unlock the clamp, lift the blade with the right thumb and allow the blade to belittle the spring actuating the gripper with cremaillere. Put like that, it may seem difficult, but actually it is extremely simple.
The cut is frank and well perpendicular.
I would have tested the clip at VIRAX ref 215042 with integrated chamfering ... but that's for another time.
EDIT: Virax clip recently tested the Knipex is much better and VERY FAR!
