Excellent projector at good price

Actually, I was interested in the slightly older Acer P1266 projector, but the P1266P was slightly cheaper. The projector came two days after ordering, very professionally packaged with all this - the first impression was expressed positively (there were even three different power cables going to plug in Germany, Switzerland and England!). A carrying case is, unfortunately, only for a VGA cable, but an HDMI cable was ordered quickly. The projector is surprisingly small and light, barely larger than a sheet of A4 paper.

I use the projector as a "home theater" -beamer in my living room, at a distance of 3m, he throws a very good image (on a white painted wall). The contrast and brightness are very good, and I can find no rainbow effect. It is completely sufficient to even etc. Movies by day to look (although the contrast is of course best in a darkened room - there is real cinema feeling!), also in the Lamp-saving ECO mode. The fan is barely audible, even though the projector is mounted one meter above my head.

One can the projector via buttons on the projector or remote control (with this) control, and both worked very well. I have the projector mounted upside down on the wall, it is very simple, not only to turn the image, but also to make by keystone correction the image edges vertically. Unfortunately, the projector can only at a fixed angle to the housing (slightly up) radiate, so you have to play with the mount, centered around the image to bring to the screen a bit. Also, the projector no "lens shift", so it must be constructed orthogonal to the screen, but you can not expect in the price range. But he has a zoom, which allows you to adjust the image by about 30% in size - at a distance of 3m screen, the image can be 185cm wide. A built-in speaker is also available, but I do not use it for my "home theater" of course!

Conclusion: I am fully satisfied and would recommend it without hesitation!
