The more childlike manga style makes a slightly erwachsenerem style course, which (at least for me) makes for a denser and more enthralling atmosphere.
The single player Kampange has a much more elaborate story than its predecessor (although this is not very much heard). The fronts are no longer entirely "good and evil" and delineated against some characters (also on your side) is successfully awakened a strong dislike. The story is about the survivors in a post-apocalyptic world.
At the gameplay has not changed and who has played Dual Strike will feel immediately at home. The control has been slightly revised and now works better with the stylus, which I almost never used in DS.
Units gain experience now, when they destroy enemy units and be somewhat more, so get your units alive the stimulus is much greater.
The unbalanced CO forces were removed from the game and there is no dual-screen battles more. Unfortunately, the Survival and the real-time mode has been removed from the game, but the
Multiplayer capability (local and Internet) balances this out for me over. Even voice chat is possible.
Strategic depth was improved by, for example, new units such as the flare launcher and motorcycle infantry.
The latest title of the Advance Wars series is for me by far the best.
