I owned an Acer Iconia A500 which I was particularly pleased. Originally purchased for documents and read comic strips, the A500 had quickly become my complete entertainment device for watching movies, pictures, play, communicate, and even control a Canon DSLR. When I heard of the A700, I wondered what she was best. The answer is simple: the definition HD! In 1920 x 1200, images are stunning and the nickel HD videos. Personally, I still do not see what brings the proc Tegra3 since I do not really use of intensive apps (except for watching videos in HD, of course). Question connectivity, a big minus compared to the A500: The A700 loses its USB port, but nonetheless retains a micro-USB port, the adapter is included with the tablet. The HDMI port is still present, and the micro SD card reader, very convenient to increase the tablet's ability (already consequent): a 32GB card costs less than 20 euros, and it goes well with 64GB of How to store a lot of things! Another positive point: the button for volume control, unresponsive (you had to press down on it and I found him not ergonomic), has changed, and is much more comfortable. Autonomy significantly increases: one is 9-10am video playback, which is not bad at all. Internet browsing seems much more fluid than the A500 (faster processor, perhaps), but also more comfortable thanks to the full HD screen where text definition is never faulted. Question value for money, we are in the area of good: less than 450 euros for 32 GB, a full HD screen, a good battery ... For my needs (entertainment: video, comic reading and viewing image ), this tablet is just perfect!
