After a few tries to find the right firepower and good fineness of grinding (mill manual Hario Mini Mill), I managed to get a coffee that gives me satisfaction. You do not get, of course, an espresso with the "crema" above, but it would require a much more expensive and bulky equipment. By cons I prefer by far the result to that of coffee "filter" or a pseudo expresso machine, I usually find tasteless. No need for paper filters, no disposable capsules: environmental impact and reduced cost. I preferred the stainless steel model as a precaution, the aluminum being he seems to have become suspect because of harmfulness. 4 cups Italian standards are announced, which corresponds to about 2 cups at home. I did not give it 5 stars because the number of cups is fixed: can not properly make a single cup, and to make more than two, it must wait for the coffee to cool to recharge. I envisage, should it prove necessary, to purchase additional Model 2 "Italian" cups to prepare either 1, 2 or 3 coffees. Still, I do not regret at all buying that coffee, perfectly suited to my needs.
Complement after 7 months of use: always delighted with this coffeemaker. I met some regularity problems have highlighted the importance of good control of the amount of coffee and fineness of the grind. Buying a mini balance and frequent cleaning of the mill have solved these problems. I finally bought a little sister (2 "Italian" cups) as described above, and I am equally pleased.
