I used it all summer hikes situations: bike (8 days walking) to recharge the smartphone I was using GPS navigation system, and then walk in the mountains (4 days riding) for the same reason. Other interest itinerant camping when we want to avoid leaving the phone in the toilet load the campsite. A must have.
