Honestly, I was a little scared because recently disappointed by Tales of the abyss and Monster Hunter Tri (Wii). I'm not a fan of either enemies that appear and attack at once (like Final Fantasy). In short, I feared a bit this RPG and it was curiosity that made me bought.
But I have indeed a real favorite for this game Enemies "spawn" not without warning. Embodied the character as strategist, the whole battle is turn-based players with a stage, allies and enemies . The cinematics are very nice to look at and after several hours, I'm still not tired.
The story is certainly simple, but I find original and interesting interactions between characters-minis.
In summary, this is a very addictive game and not to bother and stress to the idea of permanently losing fallen characters, simply to choose the creation of a party.
