As in "No Way" Mary Burton plunges us directly into its plot. She grabs the first pages we die, if we let go at the last. Throughout our reading, the author puts pressure on us, gives us clues, let us follow false leads ... on the steps of a serial killer and very endearing side. Daniel Rokov is an upright, honest and serious, this is a real nice and you have to love it. Charlotte is more enigmatic, as his tunes rigid psycho, she hides a dark past that haunts her every day and who catches up dangerously. Although at first, we can have a priori for Charlotte, in our reading we better understand his attitude and this makes it more ... human.
The police investigation is once again more important than romance but the attraction between the two protagonists is present throughout history, and it is very enjoyable to read.
This novel even more affected me because I've read over the last week when Paris has lived through dark hours ... And I found that the story really stuck to the news .. . you tell me what you think;)
In summary, I found, once again, the elements that had made me love the style of Mary Burton ... so it is with impatience I expect his next novel ...
